Salesforce CRM Technical Architect & Technical Lead (F/M/D)

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Technical Expert to join the CRM implementation project for the PID Group. This role is ideal for a senior Salesforce developer who is ready to take the next step towards a Technical Architect and Technical Lead position. The role combines hands-on technical delivery with architectural responsibility, ensuring that Salesforce solutions are scalable, maintainable, and reusable across the PID Group. In close cooperation with the CRM Director you will help design and implement solutions that meet diverse business requirements while enabling seamless system integrations.

• Define and enforce design standards, guardrails and architecture documentation (data model, access control, integrations)
• Lead solution design and architecture decisions with focus on Sales and Service Cloud , ensuring consistency and scalability across implementations
• Develop complex features and critical components hands-on
• Coordinate and control implementation execution (task assignment, progress tracking, implementation review)
• Act as primary technical counterpart to business stakeholders, ensuring clear translation of requirements into optimal solutions
• Drive continuous improvement of the Salesforce platform by identifying optimization opportunities and leveraging new Salesforce capabilities
• Working closely with our CRM Director, business stakeholders and implementation partners.

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a comparable qualification. Salesforce Certified Platform Developer certification is highly desirable and enables a fast start in the role.
• 3–5+ years of experience in a Salesforce Technical Lead, Senior Developer, or architect-track role
• Strong expertise in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud; experience with Marketing Cloud is a plus.
• Proven experience designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions (APEX, Lightning)
• Proven experience designing and implementing integrations with enterprise applications; ERP integration experience, ideally ProAlpha, is highly desirable.
• Experience working in international implementation projects and collaborating with external implementation partners.
• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
• A proactive mindset with the ambition to grow into a key technical leadership role within our Salesforce organization.
• Fluent English; German or Italian is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel regularly within Europe.
• Place of residence in Germany (Hartenholm or Eching), Italy, Netherlands or Poland preferably close to our offices.
